Looking for a new phone (not data device) that works on T-Mobile. I'm looking at the samsung t809 - anybody have that?

Most important to me are sound quality and reception, and the phone must have a decent speakerphone. Extras like camera and bluetooth really don't matter especially much.

I have a Cingular Motorola Razr, it is ok but if I had to choose again I would probably go with another phone.
Personally I feel you can't go wrong with a Nokia candy bar type phone. They are cheap and work well, but lack the "style" thing that everyone goes for now.

I have a Motorola PEBL. It actually gets pretty good reception compared to other phones I've used with T-Mobile. It has a speakerphone that works fairly well. I really like the spring-loaded design that allows you to open/close it with one hand.

Phonescoop.com is a good place to look at specs/user reviews. Also, I know you don't care about bluetooth that much but BT headsets have gotten pretty cheap lately and they're quite convenient.

Nokia 7650. Bluetooth seems to work a little iffy now. And I am the only one who can use the keypad (you have to hit them in the top-left corner) :p

I will buy another when this finally dies.

She wants a regular phone not a PDA phone.

I'd help if I could, hotchic, but I have a VZW phone. :p

i just lost my Samsung D500. Im looking at the Trace and the T619 slider. They both seem to have mediocre/ok reviews.

Currently Nextel i730. Depending on what happens at work I might be switching over to Verizon and they will be providing the phone. My boss is leaning towards the Samsung SCH-i730.
