Slider-Remix it runs on CDMA towers so im pretty sure it wont work with t-mobile

but its got a great mp3 player
decent 1.3Mp camera
records movies
supports micro SD cards
its a slider(real one not the samsung/lg/moto imitations)
easy to unlock extra features
big screen
can run analog mode (only time i used it was in corpus christi TX on spring break last year)
comes with free* headset w/ mp3 controls
come with USB cord free*
doesnt look scratched when u drop it  (color plastic not painted plastic)

- free is more meaning cost built into phone
- not an incredibly great battery life

I have a samsung D807 through Cingular and I like it a lot. Pretty unique unlike the RAZR that everyone has, but it still has the cool effect of a RAZR.

I have the V3i w/ Cingular. It's a great little phone for everything I need. The only thing I'd change is the speakerphone quality and max volume. I love having a cellphone in my pocket that doesn't look like a second bulge.

Tmobile MDA. nice phone, but sometimes aggravating to use. I'd give it 3/5

Cons:
Battery lasts 2days with moderate use
Noticeable lag in opening apps.

motorola e815

it's ok.

it's a little bit too big, though, and I barely use any of the features on it. I've been thinking about sucking up the cost and trying to find the smallest phone possible with the least amount of features (though having verizon limits my options)

Blackberry Pearl (Cingular) This is the best phone I have owned and I have owned many a cell phone.

Reception is great and eveyrthing else about it is too.

She wants a regular phone not a PDA phone.

I'd help if I could, hotchic, but I have a VZW phone. :p

But it is so small and Sexay!!!!! :D

No QWERTY No Care

Blackberry 8700 here. :D

I replaced the 8700c with the Pearl and there is no looking back; only forward looking to the Pearl with the full keyboard. This phone is so much nice it is not even funny. Honestly the Pearl makes navigating easier, plus the little extras like the camera and GPS are wonderful.

Ditto.

On my second line I switch off between the Nokia 6682 and 6230. Both great phones.

I have a cingular RAZR. It has been a great phone with no real issues or problems. But I have grown bored with it and I would like a new phone soon. The next phone I get will probably be some sort of blackberry. I was going to get the Pearl, but Im not a fan of the suretype keyboard, I'll wait until the 8800 comes out.

I've heard some bad things about the t619 speaker quality, IIRC.

Samsung D600. It does everything I need even if it has some fvcked up ideas about what "Delete All" means. Oh, it has some fun Engrish error messages too.

Meh, my White Chocolate is "sexay", and holding a big huge screen up to your ear makes you look like a tool :p

Woot, found my D500, so I obviously am not buying a new phone. I checked out the Samsung phones at tmobile and left unimpressed btw. The phone technology is actually worse than on my old D500, even the manager agreed :/

Motorola Q

It's okay, but Windows Mobile OS blows compared to Symbian. It locks up often, has memory leaks, half of the programs don't have an EXIT feature (you have to kill task), and there are a lot of features they should have included with a base image that you have to buy as add-ons instead.

I really miss my Nokia 9300.

At 89 grams the Pearl is anything but huge.

Motorola E815. I'm not a fan, actually. The battery runs down really quickly if you're in a poor reception area, the digital camera takes lousy pictures, and the phone often crashes and reboots itself when you try to recharge it. You know you have a problematic phone when it crashes more often than all of your computers combined. :(
