California weather is only good if you're wealthy enough to live within a few miles of the coast. Go inland, and it's not much better than Arizona or Nevada.

I think Long Island, New York had really good weather. Right mix of hot and cold seasons, with plenty of mild in between.

San Diego, definitely.

San Diego gets hotter than Hell in the summer though. Otherwise, the climate isn't too bad if you have A/C. 😀

LIved in PB for about a year.

Never turned on the heat or air. I was about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach.

San Diego has the most mild weather if you live in sight of the water😉

NY would be good except for the damn humidity that's ALWAYS here during summer.
Stupid Gulf of Mexico :|😉

I'm guessing out in CA is nice, but then again, you have the risk of earthquakes :Q

I wouldn't worry too much about earthquakes if you're in San Diego or thereabouts. I've lived in the area all my life and we've never had a serious earthquake that I'm aware of....

Crap, are you kidding me? Average of 78 degrees in August. You pour souls.

monthly temperature averages.

I've lived here all my life in different areas of SD County, and while the coast may be cooler, it gets HOT inland, especially in Ramona, for example.

Are you smoking crack. Come down to Louisiana or Mississippi in August. You will believe that you are in hell.

After having spent the first 18 years of my life in MI, I have to disagree. Summers are nice but the winters are long, dark, and sloppy. No thanks.

What's so good about San Diego? My understanding is that place has always been a sh|thole of a place to live...of course I've never been myself. It didn't look so bad during the Super Bowl though...

It's a nice place to live, but of course we have bad neighborhoods like everywhere else, and there's all the problems associated with any big city like traffic, crime, etc.

Hawaii, any place that doesn't get above 90 or below 50 a lot is perfect. San Diego can gets much hotter than 90 during summer, also hawaii has warmer ocean water.

They're like, "What's the weather going to be like, Lew?"
"Nice. Back to you."

LOL...true dat. 😀

Yea sure San Diego sucks, that's why the 2 bedroom across the street just sold for 550K. Oh and I don't even have AC in my place, you don't need it if your by the coast.

But, I would still advise not to move here. Job market is flooded with people, housing is costly as hell, and there is no parking.
