PSA: If you need to dispose of recently-used ashes, be sure to do so in a fire-safe container (i.e. metal) -- ideally one with a lid. Do NOT dump said ashes in cheap plastic flower pots half-filled with potting soil. Moreover, do not keep those cheap, half-filled plastic flower pots directly next to the side of your house and wooden fence if you decide to dispose of your ashes in them (and you shouldn't).
They will smolder silently for 3 days before bursting into flames and trying to take down your house with you in it in the middle of the night, and you will get 2nd degree burns on your fingers when you try to move the now-molten plastic flower pots away from the house and out into the yard.
You've been warned.
These fingers got it the worst.
These two not quite as bad.
Molten flower pots of death.
The corner that caught fire.
From the other side of the fence.
