What non-computer related hobbies do you have?

I spend a stupid amount of time on computers at work and then I come home and spend more time on a computer. I sometimes miss the pre-internet days. Or at least, when the internet was dial up crap and an hour was all you needed to get your fill.

So what hobbies do you guys have? I'm searching for a new niche and I am looking for some brainstorming ideas.

Bonus points if you can make some cash while doing your hobby.

Shooting
Reloading my own ammunition
Fishing
Hunting
Snowmobiling

None of them really make me any money, and snowmobiling (while the most expensive) is by far the most fun. Ripping up the mountains and the backcountry is just awesome.

None. No wait, golf, but if I could find a way to integrate computers I would!

I almost never use a computer at home these days.

I spend a lot of time with my family, but also a lot of time outside:

Mountain Biking (a LOT)
Snowboarding
Running
Ice hockey
Hiking/backpacking
Camping
Photography

I like hike
I take pictures
Some are quite good
Others not so much

I pick up rocks
I put rocks down
I pick up rocks
I move rocks all around

I turn out the lights
And look at my rocks in the dark
But the rocks aren't dark
They glow
I try to avoid skin cancer

I trade rocks for other rocks.
When I die, I'll leave behind the best damn midden in the world.

Gardening.

I do both vegetables and fruits. It cuts down on the grocery bill and prepares me for the eventual zombie apocalypse.

I help run the local board gaming communities and am a co-owner of a board game convention. Board games were sort of my anti-computer outlet. More social and personable than computer games. And something I could enjoy with my friends, wife, kids, parents, ect. It's a good way to unplug.

I've also recently gotten into running. Did it a lot in high school and college. Had a career ending injury in college and started picking it back up almost 20 years later. Have been pretty successful at that with only 8 months of training under my belt.

A hobby shop opened in the mall near me that's big on comics/collectibles and table top games. Things like Star Wars Armada, Star Trek and all kinds of stuff. They look like fun but the dinky little ships you buy to play these games are just outrageous. They play Magic the gathering too, but having a competitive deck seems similarly pricey.

X-wing miniatures is my vice. I've got probably more than a $1000 wrapped up in miniature star wars ships.

I play weekly and do a lot of tournaments. Love the game play and the community.

I go through stages of being interested enough in computers to mess with building and overclocking and software, etc. Currently I'm in an interested stage and looking into building a server and migrating my desktop to Linux, but I try not to let it take too much of my time, since I also stare at one most of the day at work.

I want to move to Colorado because it seems awesome for outdoors type of stuff, certainly better than Boston. How do you like it there?

<--- right over here. Going for a ride around Trevorton, PA tomorrow. Have been riding since way back in '93, and enjoy my monthly trip into the great outdoors.

i'm in MD and yesterday when i left work it was like 72 degrees with a slight breeze and no humidity, and it made me think (yet again) why i am living somewhere where the weather is not like that 90% of the time, when i could live somewhere like san diego where it's like that nearly every day.

I've been wanting to get a nice bike for a while now, just haven't gotten around to it. That may be the next thing. :D
