What neat features does Firebird have?

Been using Firebird for a few days now, and I'm trying to find what kinds of neat tricks and tips people use. I'd previously been using IE6 and Dave's Toolbar which was extremely useful, but it's a bit cumbersome with Firebird. I think, however, Firebird has some support for some of the things that DQSD used (like "dict <word>" searches dictionary.com, etc)

It also supports CTRL+ENTER and CTRL+L for the location bar, CTRL+K for the google bar, etc.

What other stuff like that do people use frequently?

Thanks

Well yeah I know that but I was talking about shortcuts and the like. I don't need to be convinced to use it; I already do. I need to know how to use it quicker/better :D

Speaking of, CTRL+T doesn't open up a new tab for me. .7+ ... weird?

is firebird .7 same browser as that found in mozilla 1.5?

also, what is in mozilla besides the email component that's not in firebird?

Um, how about all 119 of these?

:)

I mainly love the ad/popup blocking and tabs, but I've found a few other neat little things here and there.

Some swear by the mouse gestures, although I never really got used to them.

FYI: mouse gestures = click-hold + drag mouse left + release mouse button = go back a page etc...

Middle-click on links to bring them up as a tab in the bg.

I just downloaded it and it works VERY nicely. I haven't done a lot of browsing, but it's much faster than IE from what I've seen so far.

Yeah I got that, but what if I want to open a new (blank) tab?

I tried it both at work and at home... but it seems really sluggish... I'm trying out opera now.

Should be able to just export them and reimport them. Its under bookmarks, manage bookmarks, and then tools.

The ctrl + enter thing is a feature of IE, so nothing specific to FB there (ctrl + shift and shift aren't in IE though).

The fact that you can type in pretty much anything to the address bar, and it takes you to the Google page that would com eup if you hit the lucky button is quite cool, especially if you want to find out about something, you don't even need to go to Google :)

Hmm. CTRL+T does it for me (on my laptop and desktop). Could you have CTRL+T mapped as a master to something else, with hotkeys on your KB or something?

I just like the fact that it's smaller than a freaking service pack for IE and that you don't have to install it. Just dump the folder to a drive and go baby go.
