Well yeah I know that but I was talking about shortcuts and the like. I don't need to be convinced to use it; I already do. I need to know how to use it quicker/better :D

Speaking of, CTRL+T doesn't open up a new tab for me. .7+ ... weird?

Middle-click on links to bring them up as a tab in the bg.

Rob

Yeah I got that, but what if I want to open a new (blank) tab?

Install the All in one mouse gesture extension. Just right click and drag up on an empty space and you'll open up a new tab.

I -hate- mouse gestures. It's a habit of mine to click all over the place when I'm reading a website for concentration and those mouse gesture programs just don't work for me.

Change the command for the button from "Autoscrool" to "Middle-Click." It should also serve the same purpose in other programs as well.

OK I just found out that double middle-click on the tab bar brings up the tabs too :D And CTRL-T works for me too.

Hm interesting. Double-left-click works for me to bring up a new tab. Middle-click brings up the last closed tab. nice.

Have most of you left IE 6 on your system, but made Firebird your default browser?

You are required to keep IE on the system though if you use winxp, correct?

Speed. I use Firebird (well Epiphany right now) on my iBook running Gentoo.. compared to running mozilla it flies.

People say that, but I've never noticed. In the only actual test I ever did, firebird was slower, but it wasn't a very good benchmark ;).

I hated NS4. I switched to Moz from IE6. Typeahead Find is really useful once you get used to it.
