ARCHIVIO IEM: Maurice Ravel, Bolero ( London Symphony Orchestra / Valery Gergiev)

That is also very beautiful. Maurice Ravel's Bolero is the first recording of music my father played on his first stereo receiver he bought when I was 4 or 5 years old. He still has it, the phonograph and the vinyl record he played it on. The phonograph has been through some new needles since then, and the receiver's final amplifiers had to be replaced, but it still works.

That conductor is enjoying himself more than any other conductor I have ever seen! I've never seen Jacques Pepin conducting before! (just kidding)
