Yeah, that's why I stopped short of saying that they were anything more than "the best the PC world has to offer." My hearing is bad enough that I couldn't justify a setup like yours that I could never fully appreciate.
Question: Let's say that I want to buy a Sony ES-whatever AVR receiver from Craigslist or something. Am I going to need to buy new speakers or will these work fine? IOW, how do I make sure I won't blow them?
