Interesting, someone had put in the comment they were Serbian, sounded odd, had to look it up myself as it sounded pretty Celtic and they are Swiss and Gaelic it looks.

Different, still listening to their mix atm.

Saw them live a few weeks ago along with Týr, and some Estonian band I don't recall the name of. I had a good time seeing them live, but it isn't the kind of music I can listen to recordings of. It's just too loud. The whole dynamic range takes up the last 10% of the scale. I liked the Estonian band best. They were the least polished, but I liked the rawness. It was like folk metal punk.

*edit* the more I listen to it the more I like it.

I was going to see them in Chicago, but had a wedding to attend so couldn't go to the concert. It's on my to do list, one day yet. Some of it is melodic, some is heavy, sometimes a mix of both.

Some I like:

Different, not too heavy. Brictom is the song. This one is sung in Gaulish.

I think this is their 'hit' song, seems like a popular one. Pretty good, fairly heavy. Inis Mona

Love this one, heavy and awesome. :) Uis Elveti

They have lots of good stuff, a lot of it is quite different from song to song. A Rose for Epona

This is probably my favorite song from them: Tegernako This song rocks.

Yeah, the mix as it goes along has gotten way more raw, still better than a lot of newer things I've listened to lately.

I still like it, interesting stuff.

I'm going to listen to more just to check it out.

Thanks for that btw.

Sure thing. I believe I stumbled on to them from this thread, actually. If I remember right someone posted something of theirs in this thread some years back and that's how I found that band.
