What method to you choose when you are done using your PC?

I've never seen any real benefit of folding, SETI, or any of the other distributed computing programs. The concept is good...but what has it really accomplished?

My computers stay on 24/7 in the winter, and fold to generate heat. In warm weather I put them to sleep. The only time I do a complete shutdown is for updates that require it. I shut it down at night, then restart in the morning.
