I found my 2 CK jeans weren't very durable. I bought them from 2 different places. They both developed holes after 1-2 years. They are very comfortable though.

At the rate I'm losing weight and hope to continue to lose (18 pounds so far, woot!) I'd be ok with sub-$40 jeans lasting me a year. Good to know, however - I'll budget accordingly. I had CK jeans back when I cared and they did fit me really well.

I've had good luck with Banana Republic; can find them on sale for ~$40 but retail for ~$80. I am a bit on the shorter side and I found Banana Republic does a better job handling the rise in the crotch more so than other designers. As others noted everybody has such a different shape it is hard to recommend a nice fitting jean; just gotta go and try them all on.

I found the whereabouts of casiotech 4 months ago. It appears they were talking about anandtech also.

CASIOTECH APPRECIATION MEGATHREAD

haha. I didn't realize that was one of his accounts. He pm'd me from another one around that same time, complaining about how he was being treated on outside_AT forums. lol.

He had 3 accounts at AT running at the same time. I knew one of the others was revealed, I don't think I revealed the one that I knew about (I like a good troll), but whatever.

I don't know about you guys but I'd rather see a woman with a rock hard ass in a pair of wal mart jeans than some heffer in a pair of designer jeans. I'm sure it's the same for women. Clothes don't make the man.

Clothes most definitely make the man, if you have on jeans from Target females will think you're a cheap ass. They might find you attractive but if they think you're cheap and have no sense of style you won't make it far. Style means everything to a lot of females, and no dude can pull off Target jeans. An average to below average looking dude in some designer clothes will get more attention than a good looking guy who buys their clothes at Walmart. I'm not good looking but I get attention from females because I dress in nice clothes, the concept's pretty simple.

Don't see any young guys really wearing Levis.

I like 7 For all Mankind, these on a guy, for example

Those look identical to my Bluenotes, which I love... They are inexpensive, and fit well.. and they wear well too.

I've had more expensive jeans like MAVI before, and they don't last as long as the Bluenotes.

I guess it all depends what kind of female you want to attract, I don't know any who buy their clothes at Walmart though. If a female cares about style you cannot say I'm wrong, a store like Walmart, Coles or Target and fashion mix about as well as Vodka & Milk. The clubs I go to won't even let you in the door with jeans on from Walmart maybe you need to re-think what I'm wrong about.

I'll be happy with my Levi's and spend the extra money on the hookers and blow and I'll be cool enough to be part of the Diesel crowd.

I have no idea as I have never tried Diesel Jeans. However, before Xmas, as I usually do, I bought myself a new pair of Jeans. I usually buy the cheapest Jeans I can find in my Size, which is usually a challenge because my Size is rather rare, so it seems. 38x34 is the size, it seems that Taller people have a 36 or less Waist, while Shorty McShortizens have 38 Waists. :\

Anyway, I went from my usual Zellers(similar to Walmart)where I found no 38x34 Jeans(they usually have 1 Pair) to Sears where I found a whole rack of Jeans on Sale, many of them 38x33. That Leg seemed an odd length(never saw an Odd number size before), but decided to try them out as their length was close. Reg Price $70, Sale $45, still near twice what I usually Pay, but whatever. Those are simply the best Jeans I have ever owned. Style is slightly different than Levi's, not much, but the Material is simply freakin awesome. Much Softer and Stretchy(enough that I could go down to a 36 if I wanted to), I would definitely Buy these again, but not at Full Price. :p:D

Levis invented jeans but I stopped buying them after they closed all US operations (started in the 1800s) and now make them in China. Doesn't seem fitting for a US born piece of Americana, I don't care how cool they look or not.
