For once, being an old stick in the mud is a good thing. I wouldn't text the Pope if he asked.
O.K., maybe the Pope.
You could think of it as just getting ready to meet God.

It's all about the priorities. It tied up my beer drinking hand.
So watching lulzy cat videos while driving is ok? :awe:
Think he'd mind that I'm protestant? You could think of it as just getting ready to meet God.
That sounds eerily similar to a local college guyWhen I was a sophomore in college, I met a guy named Andrew. He was a cool dude and had a sweet old red car (maybe a Chevelle or something). Anyways, we hung out a few times, usually just skateboarding. At some point we stopped talking and hanging out...our friendship was weird. I always saw him at the same time, and on specific days...had something to do with his class schedule. He was a real good dude and meant well to everyone.
He was killed driving back home one day a few years ago...his pickup (not his cool red car) crossed the center line on the highway. A semi hit him head on. I am guessing he was texting...hopefully not me...

That is what made me stop texting while driving.
I can't text with my Droid2 cause it's heavy and award so I gave up on it.![]()
I never texted and drove, because I'm not stupid.
I do, however, talk on my cellphone while driving quite often.
Because you're stupid?
Just because you're incapable of doing two things at once doesn't mean other people are.
Just sayin'.

You think you can but in reality you can't. You just haven't gotten into an accident because of it yet.
I haven't gotten near to being in an accident because of it, yet, because it's not a difficult thing to do. Nor is it distracting in any way.
The fact that I can't see the road when I text was all the indication I needed that I shouldn't do them at the same time.
