Absolute bullshit. It is a distracting activity. I only hope when it finally catches up with you, you are the only person to suffer for your arrogance.

Check if your city has a number for calling in drunk drivers. If someone is driving as if they were drunk, it should be called in as drunk driving.Almost every time I drive now I see someone driving erratically/poorly, and it is almost 100% someone texting or talking on a cell phone.
Every city has one. Its called 911.Check if your city has a number for calling in drunk drivers. If someone is driving as if they were drunk, it should be called in as drunk driving.
I see drunk people on the road almost every day. I'll be following a guy who is in the middle of his lane then he slowly drifts over to the lane divider, then he's in two lanes at once, then he goes back to the middle of his lane. If someone acts drunk, it should be assumed they are drunk. Phone it in. Get the license plate.
For those bashing on Drebo, you guys do realize he's not texting and driving, but rather, talking and driving, which I believe nearly 100% of the posters in here do.
Oh, so you're the asshole that didn't notice the light changed and now we have to sit through another cycle.I only text when I'm at a complete stop at the traffic light.
I still text and drive but I live in a pretty empty part of the country.
When I'm in the "real world" I dont text and drive because its fucking stupid to do so. It doesnt take much to realize you have no damn clue where you are driving when you are staring at your phone.
I havent had any close calls, near misses or any other incident but I do have a lot of common sense so I attribute my attitude on texting and driving to that.
Common sense.
Common sense.
I was never that stupid to begin with. Texting while driving, wtf. That requires both of your hands, eyes, and your attention.I used to be a road warrior. 15-20k miles a year and a smartphone is a bad combination.
For me it was a near accident. Even though I was familiar with the road and knew the bend coming up ahead, I was oblivious since I was so focused on texting. Nearly hit the car in the adjacent lane.
Ever since then I stopped texting.
For some, all it takes is news of a horrific accident. For others, it may have to happen to them firsthand.
For me, a near miss is what it took.
I never started.
