The fact that she accepts me for me and vice versa. We share a lot of things with each other and get along great.

Oh, and well, the SEX is mind blowing! :D

What Made You Choose Your Partner?

I haven't chosen anyone yet, and, luckily, noone has chosen me (Good Heavens thanks God!!!).

Perhaps I'll die just like that - like now, alone, sad, unhappy,,,

The worst thing about us 'lonely people' is that in depth we do want to be alone, but we suffer from it somehow (maybe it's those biological things, you know). In other words, IMO, those are alone who want to be alone. And do not complain pls, it's your own choice. *Maybe* It's IMO, after all.

I all alone bewept my outcast state
And troubled deaf heaven with my bootless cries
And look'd upon myself and cursed my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featur'd like him, like him with friends possess'd,
Desiring this man's art and that man's scope,
With what I most enjoyed contented least;
Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I thought on her, and then my state,
Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth, sung hymns at heaven's gate;
For her sweet love remember'd such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings.

And she was pregnant with my child.

It's hard to say. We were friends for a very long time before it turned into anything romantic. We were secret santas from another forum and started talking. After a little less than two years of knowing each other, we just sort of "clicked". I don't know how else to describe it. We have a lot in common. We also have a lot of differences. We fell in love and I moved from California to Virginia last month to live with him and I don't regret a thing. ('Cept really missing my mom.)

He's a great guy. He's loving, caring, affectionate (I love holding hands!), handsome, knows how to make me smile, *sigh* the list could go on and on. :D

:heart:

We were both divorced, and I met her through a mutual friend.
She was/is good looking, but we are also good friends. I can't think of anything that we don't share.
We've only been married for 28+ years, so this may be just a fling.

Great feeling isn't it? I think I'm pretty close to that with my current girl. She's just great:)

she passed the love test, meaning....

i let loose with gas in the bed and pulled the covers up over our heads so there was nowhere to go. when a person can stay under the covers with you and be able to smell your gas without vomiting, you know you've found that someone special.

edit: i kid, i kid. doesnt matter anyways, looks like i must've gone back into the phone booth and turned into the 'thread killer!'

edit: now this thread has been un-killed, ty pete. i had a ripken-like streak of killing threads. glad to see it broken.

I guess it was looks and that we have so much in common yet we are so different at the same time.

her looks initially captivated me. an absolutely gorgeous woman, a traffic stopper. after I got over her beauty I noticed that she was quite intelligent and hard-working. we were sexually compatible, and she had a sense of humor (not as dark as mine but still good).
