I wear Vans because they are really comfortable and good for skating. I personally don't like a lot of the Etnies designs.

All Day I Dream About S(ex, ports, occer)

Wingznut PEZ hook me up with some POSTERS!!! Hehehehe... Damn I love Adidas... tell the designers they are doing a great job, especially with the Response and the Superstars (love the new colors on the three stripes) The EQT wrestling shoes rock too (I have the Combats).. but a tad expensive.

Etnies are good. Personally I have the "Bump" model. They're pretty comfortable. I'd also recommend adidas gazelles.

Boing Boing Boing...

LOL, everytime I'm in the gym, and some fool steps in with those shoes, we all go 'boing boing boing' while walking by them (except when he's in the middle of a rep) don't want him to lose his concentration and kill himself.

I'm surprised no one has suggested Doc Martins.

I know they are expensive ($120 for boots, $100 for sandals) but they last FOREVER. I've had mine for eighteen months and I polish them maybe once a month, and I've done everything from go to school to travese a woodland playing paintball to cross snow-covered fields in Ohio and they have held up wonderfully. They are prefect shoes IMO. Comfortable, rugged, durable, and they give you a good social image. I should be able to kepe them for at least another year.

Trust me,the $120 is worth it. I used to spend $60 on a pair of athletic shoes every six months, but they would fall apart due to my abuse. Now I have a pair of doc boots and I'm picking up sandals for this summer (since my damn cheapo AE sandals fell apart last summer), and I will gladly drop that money.

Oh right... Docs. Yeah, I have a pair. It was a high top boot pair, without the cushion surrounding the top. Cut my ankles like crazy until I broke them in. They kinda suck for sports though. But extermeley durable. I've had mine for 4 years now...

Well yeah they obviously suck for sports, because they're heavy. But he said he wanted to look nice. You really can't have a pair that is both athletically functional yet at the same time looks nice for casual social events. I think the whole wearing-one-pair-of-tennis-shoes-for-everything ended with middle school.

I mean now I have:
1 pair Docs (18 months old)
1 pair athletic workout shoes (about two years old, I only wear them for lifting and running)
1 pair football cleats (brand new, used for lacrosse)
Two pairs dress shoes, one is older than the other but they are styled differently for different things.

I don't have a pair of sandals now cuz I had to throw away my AE ones cause they sucked ass, fell apart after one summer. I'm looking into doc sandals for my summer wardrobe.

I love my Kenneth Cole Reaction "Brad Bitt" shoes. I love them so much I bought 3 pairs incase they don't make them anymore. All my friends/coworks think I'm nuts wearing the same shoes for 3 years and they will look new..lol :)
