That veal looks nice and crispy and delicious!

As far as foods from the countries of Britain, I'm a fan of Yorkshire pudding. I have had some success making it using tallow rendered from pot roasts ... I don't have any particular recipe though. I will say its way more tasty than most other types of bread or roll to have with dinner.

Best and simplest quick chicken meal!

1000016442.jpg

Flatten chicken breast (ideally skin on). Heat an ungodly amount of butter in a frying pan, Fry chicken on high heat to get some colour on it. Chuck a couple of cloves of sliced garlic in. Chuck some thyme and tarragon in with a glass or so of dry white wine. Cook until chicken is cooked and sauce is reduced .

That looks really good! I think that might be the first one we try. Thanks for the suggestions.
So that duck egg was poached for 3 minutes and 40 seconds.
Boil water in a pan, glug a bit of white wine vinegar in and swirl the water so you get a good vortex going. Crack egg into an espresso cup and gently lower it into the swirling water. After it's done drain it on some kitchen paper.
Have the muffin toasted before hand (I like mine to cool down before I put the salmon on).
It's super quick and easy!
Duck egg, smoked salmon and breakfast muffin is pretty British now I think of it!

Poached eggs are great. I've never been able to get them quite perfect, but for my last 40+ years, my grandmother has made perfect poached eggs throughout the entirety of my life :)

Yeah, poached eggs are almost like an art. When prepared by someone who knows what they are doing they are unlike anything else.

For Valentine's Day I made my wife a ribeye pinwheel steak, some scratch made fettuccini with pink sauce, and sauteed broccoli florets with shallots. Made a heart out of a sauteed pepper to be cute :)

Taught my son how to make shrimp bisque. No pictures but it was damn tasty. A bit too much work but that's really because I got the head-on shrimp and not just the shell-on tails.

If all goes well this weekend, I will be making crock-pot ribs again for my GF.

With french fries and garlic bread.

Lots of soups, stews, chili, casseroles, stuff it is too hot out to want to cook the other 7-8 months a year in central Florida.

I've never had duck eggs, but I love quail and chicken eggs. Anyone that doesn't appreciate an egg with runny yolk on top of a dish is not worth hanging around.

poached eggs are fucking sexy egg yolk porn. and in a good bowl of ramen too. benedict me up and call me the pope.
Guy across the street has chickens so we have been getting just laid eggs. Arroz a la Cubana with the runny egg yolk is bliss.

I can't read anything on that website but I'd totally eat all of it!
There is a English button...of course I have no idea if it is just the menus that are shown in English or the recipes as well.

I've been making for years with Florida wild flower honey instead of sugar. I am serious when I say I don't miss red meat at all thanks to dishes like it. So hearty, meaty, and filling. It checks every box.

LoL I am not sure chicken is any healthier than red meat.

I do five spice chicken more than sweet chicken. Similar to this one, but I just bake it or fry it.

The L-Carnitine in red meat is sus. Chicken is negligible by comparison.
