My Altima is supposed to get around 25 mixed, but i swear it is under 20🙁 I don't even floor it either.....
Wrong. It combusts just fine. There is, however, more oxygen per unit volume of air in the winter (due to the air being denser from the colder temperature) and since modern EFI systems compensate for the amount of oxygen to maintain a near-constant stoichiometric ratio of fuel/air, the ECU will tell the car to inject more fuel per injector firing to compensate for the increased oxygen content of the air.Originally posted by: mariok2006
The gas also does not combust as effectively...Originally posted by: Corporate Thug
