2003 Dodge Intrepid. Average about 24-25mpg (city and highway).

Close to 30 when driving only highway. Around 21-22 just city.

2001 Chevy Silverado, Long Bed, Standard Cab, 6.0L : Maybe 13 mpg driving conservatively, more like 11 driving normally.
1986 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z (My brother's), carbureted 383 stroker with awful timing : about 5 mpg.

dunno what mine is but roughly a 13 gallon tank and 400 miles before it gets closeenough to empty fo rme to refill

I was getting around 13 with my old car. Now, I would say whatever an average motorcyle gets. 60 or so?

'99 Tahoe.

I get about -2MPG, at least it seems like it :p

But I really probably get about 14 or so MPG on average :(

I need a new car.

That's about like my Expedition ...hasn't met a gas station it didn't like...;) (although it has gotten some gas it didn't like...last time I bought Shell...somewhere in the middle of Nebraska)

That's about identical to me. I don't know if I've cracked 30 on the highway. MPG went up significantly after the break-in period.

why does winter have such a negative effect on gas mileage?

Fuel additives that prevent gasoline from freezing is said to hurt gas mileage.

The gas also does not combust as effectively...
