that's because we don't have that issue in texas, if I'm not mistaken your photo gets put on the right hand side of the dl at 21 or after (most people get renewed at 22)Originally posted by: hdeck

go to the dmv and tell them you want to get horizontal now.Originally posted by: joshsquall
I stopped at a gas station to pick up a 12 pack of beer, and the lady at the counter wouldn't sell it to me because I have a vertical driver's license. That's right, a vertical driver's license. VA changes to horizontal after you turn 21, but you don't renew your license until you're 25. I had some other items and she asked if I wanted them. I just walked away. That is the stupidest policy I have ever heard of.
Why would I go to the DMV now to pay money to buy beer that I can already legally buy?

I'm going to try and initiate change by telling you Moshqurade to take a shower, shave, put on some make up, go outside and talk to people, meet someone new, do something exciting, or at least make your posts less stale to the reader.
That being said, whats your sigh-n baby?

In Illinois they don't care about the birthdate on the license, I think its by law as well. You need to have a valid "Over 21" license to get beer or drink at a bar.

I think you might be wrong there. When I was buying some beer at the grocery store recently the lady actually had to find my birthdate on my license and enter it in the computer.
