Never botherd to check, maybe 10km if that? about 10 minutes if I start at 8:00, 15-20 minutes if I start at 8:30 (traffic gets really bad)

Used to be .5 miles to work.

Then I moved and it was 2 miles.

Then the office relocated, now it's 4 miles.

If I get the job I want with this company, I'll be relocating out of state and be working from a home office.

Mine is 35 miles....and our company wants to move about 10 miles further away from my home......through BAD Irving/Dallas traffic.

I am NOT looking forward to it!

I commute 30 each way to/from Irving.

This.

I am about 15 miles from the office. 40 minutes normally. If it rains, double that.

Yep since places like downtown LA really isn't that far, the traffic kills us. I usally drive about 50-80 miles a day. I'm in sales so I drive to get my sales. I need a more comfy car.

Well I'm a consultant...and often times have to fly to my work...but I'm on a long term project now...so I am at a coporate apartment just down the street from the company...so I can walk if I need...less than a mile.

It is mostly because, when it rains, So. Cal. drivers like to look at the water on their windshield rather than drive.
