You should be able to get home in 3:57 flat!!!

In dress shoes and carrying my work stuff? Me thinks not.

This is why I don't walk/bike my .9 mile commute. I don't want to get to work smelling like ass.

About 800 yards ... usually ride my bike, but in poor weather I walk. :) Haven't driven to work more than twice in the last year, and that was because I had to run to the airport during the day to pick someone up.

About 5 miles round trip each day and about 10 minutes from my house to my office.

I don't have to fill up for gasoline until 1 month later.

About 15km. The drive sucks cause the only usable route is stop and go into downtown. Public transit sucks too cause I need to switch subway-bus twice, and the buses are slow as hell. FML.

Longest I've ever had for a job. Last 4 were only 3km, which is walking distance.

8 miles. Traffic is very tolerable. I had quite enough thank you of heavy commute traffic in Birmingham, part of the reason I wanted to get away from large cities. My life is worth too much to me to sit in heavy traffic for years on end. I believe people who can do it don't value their lives (honestly) and should probably be put into some kind of a forced work camp. Maybe not as bad as a gulag, but something to simply make better use of their hours.

28.7km (~18miles) each way. Takes me ~30mins, and that's because I've got flexible hours, if I had to go during rush hours, it'd be much worse...
