I have several...

-Would love a L-series Canon lens. 70-200mm 2.8L IS ($1500~) or 85mm f1.2L ($1400). I can't justify the insane cost yet since you pay more for premium (as with anything in life) compared to the actual benefit you get. A step below lens goes for 1/5th of these prices.

-Want a go on a cruise/resort anywhere in the tropics (bahamas/carribean/etc). I have never been to anywhere truly tropical where water is beautifully turquoise with white sandy beach.... mmm...

I think that's about it really. Just got me a cheap snowboard set for next year (just picked up this hobby).... I don't really care for cars. My Mazda6 keeps me happy.

I guess I need a vacation more than anything.
 
1. DeWalt portable table saw. Even though I only use power tools maybe once a week, I'm tired of ripping with a skil saw! Just need to save up for 3 more months on my GPT site.
2. Super Mario World for SNES. Just bought a SNES, but must....finish.....other....games....first !
 
I'm thinking of eventually getting the Canon 200mm f/2.8 as a telephoto lens to complement my 28-75mm f/2.8 Tamron lens. Hell of a lot cheaper than the 70-200mm f/4 IS I'd be considering instead.

Beyond that, the only other stuff I'm interested in getting is random DVDs.
 
New stove and microwave.
New countertops.
New flooring for the kitchen.
New sink.

Then a full replacement in my bathroom...

All of that should take place in the next 4 months.
 
a used volvo or subaru station wagon......

...so i could carry my bicycles around

(waiting for winter when i actually need the wagon)

recently bought too many household and electronic goodies.. nothing small left on my wish list

Photography is an expensive hobby... once you start getting better lenses, you want to get a deserving body or vice versa.

new amp for my car (old one burned out) - I'm getting around to it, I bought myself a lot of toys last month

 
also, new amp for my car

about 3% of the time, it'll cut out the right channel. extreme annoyance as i cant go a day without listening to music

if it acts up about 5% fo the time... time for new one

And the PS3... probably gunna pick up the MGS bundle when it comes out

realistically .... PS3, 27-32" LCD for our bedroom, MAYBE a bigger LCD for my computer, i do not know I guess, pretty content really.
 
A long vacation somewhere overseas. I haven't been on a real vacation in about 3 years, so I'm overdue. Going to do 2-3 weeks some time around Thanksgiving.
 
really a 3-way tie between a GPS unit, a new digital camera, and a 26" tv for my bedroom.

unless a really good deal comes along, I'll probably wait till my credit card is paid off again before buying one of them.

I know what you mean. I'm currently a student, so I have a limited budget to work with (but it is expanding lately as I have been employed for the last 10 weeks). My big purchase of the year was getting a bicycle. Depending on how I do by the end of the summer in terms of savings, I might spring for the lens. The telephoto prime would be good for when I go out and shoot club sports.

New computer + new monitor
Vacation somewhere

All 3 have not happened yet because I'm still trying to finish up my thesis and I plan on getting them after I graduate (and my sign on bonus arrives).

thats what I am going to be doing, for sure. He and I talked about it last night, I just have to talk to the bank and do it the right way.

I will be getting it for far less than blue book though, he just wants it gone. He has put 330 miles on it in the last six months, so he does not drive it enough to justify having it around anymore. Plus, he is buying a 1947 willy's jeep this weekend, and will need room in his garage to put the thing.

It is a 2005 Acura RL with about 21,000 miles on it. Cant really turn that down.
