All I can say is, get one bottle of Henry's, chill it as much as you can, and see if you like it.

being diabetic means no more sugary soda pops for me.

before that, my go to soda was Canada Dry Ginger Ale. Next favourite was Wink.

I also like Schweppes Dark Ginger Ale.

lol, don't you guys call it coke?

i guess that's no different that me calling every facial tissue a kleenex :hmm:

There's actually a whole section of law on this about copyright protection, that brands that become used generically can be ruled to lose the right to their copyright.

Some think that's pretty mickey mouse.

Oh, wait.

I don't know why people keep saying this. I don't know a single person who says "Coke" to mean "sweet beverage available in a variety of brands/flavors" or even "carbonated sweet beverage available in a variety of brands/flavors."

Sorry. These people do exist somewhere but even where they supposedly exist they are in the EXTREME minority.

Do they? I wonder how that works. If I want rootbeer, how do I tell the waitress what kind of "coke" I want? What if I want Coke coke? I find it hard to believe anyone does that. I use coke as a generic term for cola, but that's not hard to figure out what I'm asking for.

"Soda" or "drink."

"Could you get me a Coke or something?" <-- other soft drinks are what I mean by "something."

There may be some people that use "Coke" generically, but I haven't lived or worked among those people. I'm told frequently by people on this forum that people in the south use "Coke" as a generic term for soda, but I simply never experience that. Coca Cola is one of the biggest brand names on the planet and we are being pretty specific when we say "Coke" here in the home state of Coca Cola. If you ask for Coke at a restaurant that only serves Pepsi products, they will never just say "OK, sure." They will always ask: "Is Pepsi OK?"
