the correct word for "soda"

most of the united states and canada calls it pop

Only the stupid parts...and Canada...well..........

I don't drink "pop," I drink soda...and almost ALL of the soda consumed in our house is made by Coca-Cola...and in their "Zero" line.

"Diet" anything sucks...The "Zero" products aren't terrible...but they DO take a bit of getting used to...

We use to call it Tonic here. Perhaps it is passé now. Haven't heard that word used by anyone under 30 in a while.

Don't drink soda. My carbonated beverage of choice is seltzer. My favorite brand is Polar. I believe that is not a national brand, but regional. They have many flavors, and some are seasonal. My usual that I buy by the case is Black Cherry. Polar only uses natural flavoring and never adds artificial anything.

Before I quit, it was Pepsi. Now it's either water or fat free milk.

Some of the best soda's are the housemade - all 3 flavors - at the chain BJ's Brewhouse.

Root Beer is the best soda, and A&W is one of the best despite being 'mass market'.

And Mug is a fine root beer.

One of the worst is Dad's and another is those cheap generic store brands.

There are too many good soads to list, but Pepsi > Coke, with the added benefit saying that pisses of the south.

And I've been to Coke headquarters, nice tour. At the end they sell a sampling of international products that includes absolutely disgusting sodas.

It's hard to see how anyone can drink the 'after dinner cleaning drink' for Italy.

Stewart's makes an excellent grape.

The best orange - and arguably the best mass market soda made - is Henry Wenhardt's Orange Cream, but only very cold.

For a special treat try to find the Limited Edition Virgil's Root Beer:

I SNORT COKE

but only if you make me laugh while I'm trying to drink it.

Sunset Sarsaparilla > Nuka Cola >>> Nuka Cola Quantum unless you're tying to sell it. I mean for drinking.

Don't really have a favourite Pop. Depends on my mood, usually grab something obscure.

Can form: Coke Zero

Machine (properly carbonated and mixed, not the shit kind that comes out of machines where the owner is skimping on CO2 and syrup): Coke
