Now that I am old enough to buy beer I have been trying different types. I like Fat Tire and Widmere hefeweizen haven't really tried much else.

Same here, now that I'm legal, I'm trying things.

Haven't gone too far from predictable, so far I've tried Sam Adams Summer Fest and Octoberfest (like summer fest more, but octoberfest is tasty), and just tried the Budweiser American Ale. It's real tasty. 🙂

Probably my favorite 'light' beer is Dos Equis (the lighter color bottle, haven't tried the other one).

fav would be Industrial IPA from Diamond Knot brewery, but for what I can actually get here - either Arrogant Bastard or Foothills seeing double IPA

I'm in college so I have to go with Yuengling, it's cheap, delicious, and available in a 24 pack of bottles. Blue Moon and Leinenkugel's sunset wheat are also very good.

Someone else mentioned Leinenkugel's sunset wheat!
That stuff is awesome. I am always introducing friend's to it and I have yet to find a person who didn't like it, mostly the opposite, they thought it was amazing. Its probably my favorite, commercial beer, especially for summer.

For cheap stuff Yuengling is pretty good I must say. It never made me ill, tasted decent enough and cheap as hell.

There is a hookah bar near me I go to once in a while that has Hoegaarden on tap which kicks butt. In a bottle, I'm not as crazy about it. It's good but on tap is so much better. There are a lot of beers I wont drink from a bottle but enjoy on tap. The king of that is Guiness stout. A fresh, well poured Guiness and some flat sour crap from a bottle or can is a world of difference.

I like La Fin du Monde quite a bit.

Right now though I'm hooked on this local Fat Guy Oatmeal Stout; delicious!

i haven't tried many beers, but sam adam's wheat ale wasn't too bad from what i remember.

but in general, i don't like the bitterness of beer. i'd much rather have a mixed drink like rum and coke (mmmm, rum)

you haven't had any great lakes stuff yet?

pssh

and picking a favorite beer is impossible. I've tried 100+ and many have been delicious. I'm partial to certain styles though. HOPPY HOPPY IPA and crude oil looking beers like imperial russian stouts, oatmeal stouts, etc.

I could easily say though that Stone is my favorite brewery.

I like all kinds of beer...mich ultra is usually the easy choice.

I am not one of these pansy types that practically cry and insist they can't drink anything else but 'Stella' which seems to be getting replaced by Urquell and anything with IPA in it.

The funny thing about these chicks is they just milk the fucking beer anyway. They brag about it's uber alcohol content and talk about how 'average' guys couldn't handle them...yet they are downing one 6%+ beer for every 6 anyone else at the bar does.

It's fine to like a beer or two that is unique, but don't be a freaking little whiny bitch if the bar doesn't have it esp when they have it at least in a bottle.

We have a place in town with something like 200+ beers on tap. You will still here someone crying about not having something.

Killians. If a place doesnt have it then I dont drink at all. I'll just drink water.

I dont like beer but since Killians doesnt taste like beer I can get it down. Not being able to find a bar or eatery that has Killians we help keep me sober for years on end.
