Funny, I've been plowing snow for almost the last 20 years...
;)

Bah...them thar mountains don't count...:p

The only time I've seen actual snow (on the ground, not just a few flakes in the air...yes, I know, there are LOTS of flakes in Kahleeforneeya) was when we drove up 108 past Sonora where they stop plowing for the winter.

Lived in Illinois my whole life. I'd like to eventually live in Wi, the UP of Mi, or Mn, but I have a good job in Il, so I'm not moving any time soon.

Ontario

it's huge... there's a little bit of everything. it's beautiful, there are enough of nature's wonders here for an entire country let alone one province. I love Ontario with all my heart!!!!!!! If I could choose another province to live in I'd probably go with Alberta.

state / province.... whaveter.. :D

I've lived in Massachusetts all my life. I visited Oregon for a friend's wedding last year and fell in love. The Columbia River area is gorgeous. I'm itching to go back because a long weekend was not nearly enough time to explore it and could see myself living there someday.

TEXAS! I love the people and the fact that you have so many different areas. From the nothingness of the panhandle to the East Texas Piney Woods to Hill Country, it's gorgeous country and great weather (summer is a little hot).

I did really enjoy the Pacific NW though (the gorge is INCREDIBLE) and I like the history of the NorthEast.

I've lived in FL, NJ and NH. I've been up and down the east coast, WI, MI, AZ and NV.

Arizona FTW.

i agree, all the states ive been in were ok for the most part, but i always come back to az. ride a motorcycle year round, spend xmas morning wearing shorts and t shirt in the yard watching kids play with toys. if i wannt a change, i can drive 3 hours north and play in snow, hit the lakes all over the state or even drive a few hours and hit vegas. if im feeling it, i could even drive south 3 hours and hit mexico for cheap smokes and good food.

I agree, all of that and no rust.

I've lived in New Jersey, South Carolina, Indiana, Kansas and Texas. I'd have to say it is a toss up between South Carolina and Texas.

I've visited every state except Hawaii, Alaska, North Dakota, Washington and Oregon for extended periods of time. I really liked Upstate New York, but would still say that I'd prefer to live in the low country of South Carolina or Texas.

Overall, Minnesota. The cold keeps most of the pussies and assholes out, and in general people are pretty nice.
If I had lotsa money: Florida. It seemed to me that Florida is really only liveable if you are rich.

Have lived in:
PA
MN
IL
FL
VA
OR
CA
and have visited
WI
IA
ND
SD
NY
NV

I've lived on both coasts, and many places in between. I like being warm vs being cold, so I had to leave Seattle (though I love everything about it except the weather).
I love the desert southwest. I'll likely be in AZ or NM later in life.

NC is great, good balance of north and south if you live in the city.
