Goldfinger, Goldeneye, From Russia With Love or Casino Royale, depending on my mood. I'll throw Thunderball, The Spy Who Loved Me and Skyfall in as well, just shy of the best of the best. And I need to watch On Her Majesty's Secret Service again, because I only saw it once decades ago and I don't remember anything about it; apparently it's quite good.

OHMSS because it is the best without a doubt.

then:

FRWL, Goldfinger, Dr No, Casino Royale

Roger Moore is a creepy perv, but TMWTGG, LALD, TSWLM were solid

Goldeneye was good, but Brosnan sucks. I also thoroughly enjoyed The Living Daylights--it was my first Bond film in the theater.

On her majesty's secret service.

I hate all the Moore ones.

Agreed. That is just a great movie.

And Roger Moore is probably my least favorite Bond... he was too old for the part by then IMO and didn't have physical presence that Connery did. He was very good in 'The Saint' though.

'Dr. No' and 'Thunderball' are also favs of mine. I liked the Daniel Craig version of 'Casino Royale' too.

It's the only one that actually treats Bond as a character, rather than some vehicle for spy stuff. I suppose the books are more detailed, but the events that happen in OHMSS actually provide all of the background for his character throughout the series--though it's only really suggested in a few of the movies following.

It stands out, for one, because it was when Connery decided he was done, so Lazenby was cast. Connery then decided "fuck that! I'm the only Bond!" and so of course he was cast for the next one. And it was very shitty (DAF).

I suppose the first Bond film without Connery, allowed them to actually deal with the character, Bond, rather than just present him as some version of Connery.

I used to like all the pierce brosnan ones and I own all of his but they were just too comical and not serious enough..

Daniel craig is my new bond guy

I'm surprised at the number of people who like Quantum of Solace. I thought it was just meh.

I like the new Casino Royale alot - maybe my favorite, even over the Connery films.
