i would have to say the part in The Patriot when Gibson and his two sons 'save' his older son. And Mel goes ballistic on that one dude with his hatchet.

The "Convoy" scene in Clear and Present Danger (Clancy flick, sequal to Patriot Games) where the suburbans get turned into swiss cheese was pretty cool.

The Jungle clearing scene in Predator.

In addition to the previously mentioned shootout in Heat, there's several scenes from Braveheart, and one of my favorites, the scene where Doc Hollywood and the boys come around the corner leading to the OK Corral in Tombstone, right before the shootout.

Great movie with great action scenes. I particularly liked the scene where the scots build giant spears and use them to defeat british calvary.

opening scene of Saving Private Ryan and the Battle of Endor at the end of Return of the jedi (used to watch that sucker all the time as a kid)

also the whole hospital scene in Hard Boiled. Good lord everyone gets shot!
