Considering how much he worked on it, it's a fairly decent price, someone will buy it, I am sure.

Wow... $44k for a 13 year old pile of ugly? Awesome. Wouldn't be caught dead in that car.

You know, one that doesn't need a bunch of aftermarket parts to actually perform? And I doubt this Supra will handle as well as a car engineered from the start to perform with a lot of power.

It depends on if you want a car that is a pvssy magnet or a car that burns.

Yes... But at least it was reasonably priced and at least somewhat professional looking.

Don't get me wrong, "Rolling up" to a customer site in that awesomely badass wingmobile bumpin' the system and revving the engine so everyone can hear the fart can attached to unmuffle the muffler would probably catch me some glances. But under their breath everyone would be saying "douche bag".

It took Porsche seven years to build a car that would out-brake a stock Supra.

Just sayin'.

If the thought of buying a Supra TT for a work car entered your mind, indeed you are a douche bag, tool, or whatever you want to call it.

Supras are one of the few Jap cars that many American muscle car enthusiast can and do appreciate. RWD, and can be made into 11 second cars with next to no effort.

I guess I could buy it to sit in and masturbate all day, but generally I buy a car to drive. I guess they have other purposes? Hrm, I could stand on it and clean my gutters? Hrm, maybe I should buy a scooter to drive to work? Don't really know what you are getting at here.

Do people actually buy cars like this in hopes that they will appreciate in value? I guess I don't get what other purposes this vehicle could have.

Pristine Supras are nowhere to be found. If the mileage is accurate it's not far off what I bet he can get for it. Hey here's an idea...if you think it's too high, don't buy it.

You know, people DO own more than one car, right? Just get this one for the track or for fun.

Ohh shit that's right. Forgot this was ATOT where everyone and their dog has $45k to spend on a secondary car that they can use at the "Track".

Non-turbo, automatic transmission Mark IVs can sell for $20k and up, so I'm not surprised that a twin-turbo, targa, manual one is selling for this.

And it IS a real sports car. You might not LIKE Japanese sports cars, but the Mark IV is the real deal. It's right up there with the C5 Corvette and lower-end Porsche 911s of its era. I'm not comparing it to modern sports cars like the C6 or a brand new 911, but it's held up really well given its age.
