Stockyards: pretty cool
Sundance Square: in downtown Ft. Worth... good place to take a date, plenty of bars, shopping, and neat places to hang out
Art Museums: west of downtown Ft. Worth are a bunch of fantastic art museums and science exhibits, near Will Rogers Colleseum
Omni Theatre: In museum of science and natural history, great shows... must see! $7/ticket
Ft. Worth Zoo, off University Drive a little south of I-30, they have some awesome exhibits for animals.
Botanical Gardens: Some of the nicest gardens I have ever seen. At University/I-30
To eat: go to Reatta (Texan, Expensive), or Uncle Julio's (Mexican)
Arlington
6 Flags Over Texas: tons of rides, rollercoasters etc. Very fun. Park entrance is like $25
Ballpark in Arlington: Watch the Rangers play. Great ballpark. Eat at the TGI-Friday's overlooking the stadium.
Hurricane Harbor: Across the highway from 6 Flags, this is a giant waterpark also owned by 6 Flags. Very fun.
River Legacy Park: Miles of trails through the woods. Off Green Oaks Ln.
To eat: go to Mac's Bar and Grille, a great restaurant that is a really classy and expensive atmosphere but low price ($6/plate) I-20/Little Rd.
Dallas
Deep Ellum: A lot of live music and bars, more of a grunge type crowd East of Downtown on Elm St.
Greenville: A bunch of bars and clubs, little nicer than Deep Ellum. on Greenville east of I-75
West End: More trendy warehouse district, bars, they have a pair of Hooter's,
Northpark Mall: Northpark Blvd./I-75 Expensive stores (nieman marcus, saks, etc.) , part museum... modern sculptures inside too.
Galleria: A nice mall on 635/Tollway, many unique stores, has skating rink
American Airlines Stadium: Mavericks and Stars play here. Nice stadium... I dont think there are any games soon though.
JFK/6th Floor Museum: In southern outskirts of West End, where JFK got shot, pretty cool, admission is like $6/person
Dallas Aquarium: Nice aquarium near West End, its pretty cool, should check out
Reunion Tower: Restarant at the top of the tower, its the building that looks like a lollipop, downtown dallas
Arts District: Dallas Museum of Art near Downtown, great sculptures and works of art
Myerson Symphony Hall: Symphonies...
Uptown: Trendy places with unique restaurants, bars, and shopping. north of downtown. Can ride McKinney Ave Trolley all the way from Uptown to downtown's arts district.
Mideval Times: Off I-35E in Dallas, interesting to watch, terrible food
Malibu Speedway: I-35E/Wallnut Hill, can race go karts!
To eat: Bob's Steak and Chop House (best steaks ever), Mansion on Turtle Creek (Expensive), McKinney Ave. Tavern (bar), Hard Rock Cafe, can't go wrong really anywhere....
Grapevine
Downtown Grapevine: a historical old town with old shops... looks like a western town.
Grapevine Mills Mall: a giant mall with a Gameworks, and Virgin Megastore, etc.
Lake Grapevine: Go sailing, or boating

There are some outlet mall north I-75 to Allen (city)
Bone Daddy's is a great place, on Lake Lewisville
rent boats on Lake Lewisville
