What is the worst genre of music?

and for the record there is music I like in all those categories, it's just that there'e FAR less of it there than in any other categories.

Followed by nu-metal, modern metal, rap-rock, etc. Only old school metal for me, thanks.

I don't own any or purposely listen to any country music, but I can tolerate some of it, except the dumb lyric songs about tractors and such (and that f'n Mr Mom). If I hear a live band playing country, I find some of it listenable. Most of the band members in country bands are good players. And as I always say, and as kage69 said, at least country artists actually sing and (some) play instruments. Rap is just making noise and grabbing your crotches.

Anyone who puts down an entire genre of music obviously does'nt know much about music to begin with. There are talented artists in any given genre or style of music, whether or not you choose to find those artists is an entirely different issue.
