Cheap wallet- $15
512MB USB 2.0 thumbdrive $40 AR
Motorola V265 phone $50 AR

So about $100 plus the $10-20 in cash I normally have on me and whatever they can loot from my debit account.

These are the prices of the things when i bought it, im guessing it's not worth as much now

Cellphone ~$60
[x] Watch ~$80 edit that one out
Wallet ~$20
Cash ~$50
Glasses ~$200 (not that it has any resale value)
USB drive ~$50
MP3 Player ~$300

So around $680 not counting clothes?

Took out watch since i misread the Title. and I do keep my glasses in my pockets usually.

Pocket knife-under $20
Wallet-around $20?
Cash-today about $25
Gift cards-maybe $30
Keys-these are pretty pricey because my truck keys are those ones with the electronic thing and I have a key fob door opener. It'd run over $100 to replace my keyring full of keys, more likely well over 200.
Nuissance factor if I lose my keys or wallet (have to replace my driver's license, my health/dental/prescription/vision cards, credit cards, debit card, costco card, etc)-very high

EPIRB (Ra-PV powered): approximately $45k
Arc 4X EDC light: $300
A few other devices that are probably expensive too.

Kind of ridiculous I suppose. I never really think about it.

Cheers!

why do you guys carry so much crap around? heh.

my pockets = wallet, cellphone, car keys

cellphone is about ~150... wallet is worthless unless you count the value of my credit cards (~20K).

I see a lot of people carrying pocket knife w/ them. Can you even flip the blade out quick enough to defend yourself? I know you don't carry it for self defense, but lets just say you're, how fast can you flip the blade out?

You carry a $45k object with you almost everyday? To work or just anywhere?

Don't carry it for self-defense. Would take me about three seconds max to dig it out and open it though.

Fast Enough!

p.s. This WiFi connex rocks! :D

p.s.s The EPIRB is special because it has a ZERO failure rate. I trust my life on it. I suggest you watch the movie Castaway to see what would happen if it failed.

My pocketknife is for opening boxes, cutting strings, and such, not defense. My revolver is for self-defense.

Although I do think the pocketknife is the last dying vestige of a more manly era, when gentlemen carried swords for defense. The broadsword shrunk to the rapier, the rapier shrunk to the dagger, the dagger shrunk to the folding knife, the folding knife shrunk to the penknife. Soon the penknife will be gone, too. Already I can't carry even a 1" blade into government buildings or onto an airplane. Sad.

Actually, I was thinking about your leatherman. I have the SuperTool 200. It's a monster. I don't carry it around w/ me, just use it at home for small projects and stuff. Man, that locking action makes flipping out anything a btich.

But assuming they can't figure out where the key belongs to and you freeze your accounts, its just 20 bucks worth of stuff.

As far as I'm concerned nothing has a zero failure rate. I hope they are right.

If they can make a machine with a zero failure rate, they should be consulting for every technology firm in the world.
