I thought 5.5 had issues with supporting PCI-E? Hrm, well...I'm still plaing on getting an AGP VC anyways.

Yes it does, it is just that Registered is a requisite ecc isn't. I'd take the TYAN over the Gigabyte *you linked it twice?* if you don't need the 8131 for PCI-X, but it is good to spend the little extra to get it if you believe you might need it later.

Works great from all reports I have seen (folks had gotten 915/925 based boards for LE 5.5). The software is independent of the bus type. It uses DirectX. That is part of the reason that you need a DX9 card for LE6 with the BOB or for HD support. It uses DirectX as the transport to use the GPU for rendering.

One of the nice things is that the PC-DL fits in most ATX cases. Of course, the Chenbro Xpider II should hold it too (I like all of the drive slots - NLEs LIKE storage :D )

Of course it does, if the AMD 8151 chip is on the board it has AGP.

Of course it does, if the AMD 8151 chip is on the board it has AGP.

Ah ok...well, I think I just might ahve found my board. ;)

Anyone else want to weigh in?

What sux is that the 2875 was $228.50 shipped yesterday and today it's $240! I swear anytime I keep looking at something@newegg or link it so there are quite a few views, the price goes up!!11!!!! :p
