Left arm under neck, hand goes around and reaches for her right breast
Right arm around waist, hand between her legs.

Pull tight towards you and go to sleep. ;)

well, my raight arm is usually over one of her breasts, elbow is over her waist drawing her closer. Left arm is left to die and go numb. I have frequently awoken to a numb left arm.

Under the neck or under the pillow works for me. The only problem I've had is once in a while if I wake up and I've rolled onto my back with my arm still under her neck or the pillow. If she has also rolled away a little bit, my arm hurts like hell because the elbow is being slightly hyperextended while I sleep. It doesn't happen too often though, so it's ok.

One time I guess I must have had an itch on my nose and since I didn't have any hands free, I apparently attacked the back of her head with my nose in an attempt to scratch it.

until spoonage?

Wow, talk about going slowly in a relationship... :)

I also enjoy spooning with close friends, male or female... :) It's intimate, but it can also be platonic-intimate.

When I had a boyfriend, he'd leave for his dance tours/trips, and I'd spoon with some of his friends. Everyone was cool and understanding and respectful like that... no funny business. I also spoon with my friend Fawn, etc.

Hey, I'm your friend... Remember the good times we had playing Monopoly? So, when should I come over? ;)

Yeah, because we all know guys would think such a situation (spooning with your friend's woman) is entirely platonic.

I make that explicitly clear from the very beginning. Communication is key in any relationship, platonic or otherwise.

Having someone wrapped around you, looking into your eyes, inches away from your face, smiling the cutest smile in the world and giving you quick little kisses on the nose is the greatest feeling anywhere ever

...Unless they're a really cute poisonous snake. In that case, say your pwayers, wabbit!

Anyone ever sporked? That's kind of like forking and spooning at the same time.

You're not well-versed in Classical Ladder Theory if you believe this.

Classical Ladder Theory?

If it makes anyone feel any better, I also spoon with my sisters... to me, it's a way of being close to people I care for. I won't do it with a guy I just met, but I will do it with close and trusted friends...

Grab the offending person's nutsack in the left hand, grip the rusty spoon tightly with the right hand, then in one quick sweeping motion..... oh, that spoon.

facing each other laying in opposite directions arms around each others waists??? sounds good maybe a lil overly friendly though... sorry someone had to say it. And I haven't got any lately :(

seriously though I had 2 girls never talk to me again cause all I did was spoon... I guess they wanted to use me for something else but refused to make the first move themselves. I never trusted a girl who didn't know how to spoon just right.

lastly while I was in school we went on a road trip to a frat brothers apartment at Vanderbilt one guy stayed behind later when we came home from the bars the to guys were dead asleep spooning... :Q whoa that was funny

The point is that any normal male is going to be really aroused by such a situation, and that's hardly something I feel is appropriate for platonic relationships. I also believe that most guys think that a willing-to-spoon woman leaves the door open for more possibilities, regardless of whether or not she says it's platonic. What about platonic kisses, sex, etc.?

I'm not rigid, I just know that I wouldn't want my girlfriend arousing all of my friends in such a way.
