What is the most you have paid for a steak at a restaurant?

Considering going to a place that charges $60 for a 6oz Kobe Filet Mignon.

I have been told it will be the best steak I have ever had.

$30 for just the steak is the most I've paid. Well, it was a business trip and I expensed it, so I really didn't pay for it.

Ooo...got the ribeye at Outback did ya? 🙂

I've gone as high as $70...one of the most amazing meals I've ever had too.

For steak that was expensed, about $70 for a 10oz filet mignon (though I don't remember seeing prices on the menu, so it's a rough estimate).

For steak I've actually paid for, probably $30 or so.

It was at Outback, but I don't remember which steak it was 😛

do you count the full "meal" associated with it? i went to a place where the meal was $110 - it was perfect cut - perfectly aged - perfectly marinaded - excellent piece of melt in your mouth steak along with appetizer, salad, baked potato, etc, dessert, etc.

The $60 is ala carte.

myself, about $20

on an expense account, about $25

at a company dinner where a boss was paying, about $37

$180 for a 10-ounce Wagyu topped with foie gras with side of lobster. I'm guessing $120 worth was the steak.

Was around $50 at a local place and was a fantastic piece of meat. Not the best thing I ever ate, but it was pretty damn good.
