Nice place and I pretty much agree with you. Wasn't crazy about the food either but everything else was terrific. Also been to the sister establishments - Cafe Boulud & DB, as well, with similar experiences. While I don't recall the most expensive meal, I must say that I recall the most expensive hamburger I've ever had, which was at DB. It was $27, and if you add drinks & dessert to that, it was over $100 for a burger based meal for 2. It WAS a good burger though, although I'm not really sure you can call it a burger anymore if it has truffles in it.Originally posted by: isasir

Sadly, I wasn't a huge fan of the food, but the service was absolutely incredible (right down to putting the engagement ring in a silver platter and having the waiters 'present' it to her during dessert.)
