Did you miss the news a few months back when we had this war thing in Iraq. I remeber watching Gen. Franks on CNN say several times that Seal teams and the Delta Force had been deployed throughout the northern region of Iraq.

Isn't there also another group that is pretty much known yet the military does deny the existance. 'Cause, I know they recognize the existance of the Delta Force. I remember another name though...it's denied to exist but is pretty much confirmed...

I'm pretty sure the Army still "officially" denies that Delta Force exists, yet recently they've seemed to stop caring about secrecy.

SEALs - the most elite is probably the navy seals, and more specifically seal team #6 which is the anti-terrorist team. they are at home in any environment (SEa, Air , Land) and also have the most rigorous selection process their is.

I have a childhood friend that is a SEAL. Besides being an outstanding athlete, he is one badass dude. You should see the guy water ski too. Amazing.. I would often look to see if he had webbing between his toes and fingers.

I remember reading in a doc's office in popular mechanics or science or something like that about this squad the Air Force has, it is a land based, atv/dirt bike using team that is in charge of setting up field landing strips.

It said one of the "favorable" things to have to get into it was be one of the above mentioned things. SEAL/green beret/delta force.

I used to know a couple guys in the Coast Guard based out of Long Beach. Good Lord, they were pricks. Not only were they pricks, they were stupid assholes as well. From what I've seen of their Coast Guard cronie friends, it seems like it's a prerequisite to joining.
