What is the font of choice for resumes these days?

My resume has always been Times New Romans. I was looking at some examples and it seems like they all use sans serif fonts.

What do you guys use?

Just because everyone else is doing something doesn't mean you should.

Also, I like Frutiger and Myriad Pro.

As long as your resume is legible and you use only one font throughout, it doesn't matter.

Martin put it best...

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by their font, but by the content of their resume.

Hmm, reviewing the original, I guess fonts do matter.

Mine is in Computer Modern. But I'd say Times New Roman or similar fonts and Calibri or similar fonts would be fine. Most likely the reason the resumes you see nowadays are sans-serif is because Calibri is the default font in Office 2007 and that's what most people use for their resumes.

I like Calibri. It's certainly well accepted. Times New Roman is still just as good if you want that older style look.

I carve my resume into the skin of an innocent, then I send the poor fellow over to the HR department and have him wait to be seen. Simple. Effective. Eye catching. Everyone knows this.
