Republicans are self-righteous creeps who think that we should all get guns and every man should fend for himself. Democrats are touchy-feely and like to hug trees and have candle-light vigils for every stupid cause. Someone long time ago decided that these two parties are the only choices we need in this country.

DemoCROOKS are poor ass people who have no will power to do anything and want things handed to them on a plate.

Republicans have Willpower to to survive on thier own and dont want to be babied. they have this thing about what they earned is thiers... wow what a concept huh?? And they want this to go to thier children not some ghetto lady with 8 kids on welfare

Easy-

Look at the stock market.

Bush in - Technology up - we have a future.

Gore in - Tech down - No future, no incentive, no nothing except more redistribution of wealth from the productive people to the hangers on.

Ever wonder why most of the Dem voters are the poor? Ever watch them court them?

I always liked the definitions given by the late, great Peter Cook in the British revue "Beyond the Fringe":

"Yes, in America they have inherited our two-party system. They have the Republican party, which is roughly equivalent to our Conservative party; and they have the Democratic party, which is roughly equivalent to our Conservative party."

BOBBY RIBS,

<< republicans are selfish bastards who dont know how to share. greedy bastards will create a two class america if it werent for the democrats. >>

That one is so ridiculous, I'm not sure where to start. Oh, how about the fact that Congressional tax returns PROVE that Republicans give far mare to charity then democrats. That's a FACT, slick. Gore gave a whopping $297 in 1997.

<< that woman with 8 kids is a needy person too. it is the reforms and helping the poor >>

Yep, when they're stealing our money to do it. They're VERY generous when it isn't coming out of their own pocket.

<< the exact reason what makes america so successful today. >>

Bwuahahahahahaha!!!!!!! If ignorance is bliss, you're stoned out of your gourd. Welfare and social programs made America what it is today? I repeat: Bwuahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

FREEDOM, entrepreneurial spirit, hard working, tax paying Americans made this country what it is. Those who fought in wars to protect these things made our country what it is.

Our country is successful IN SPITE of Federal Piggy, NOT because of.

toph99,

In answer to your question: A Conservative will provide the tools and the opportunity so that the individual can achieve to any level their own drive and ambition will take them, and then get the hell out of the way.

A liberal will try to make everyone equal, even if it means sacrificing the achiever on the altar of the lethargic masses, and will continually interfere in the natural order of life in an effort to maintain power and control.

EDIT: Not all Republicans are Conservatives, and not all democrats are liberals.

My views:

Republicans:
1. Want less federal spending
2. lower taxes
3. people should save for there own retirement with a higher rate of return
4. welfare motivates nobody
5. 5% of any given society are criminals and belong in prison so the 95% can live in peace and safety.

Democrats:

1. Want more federal spending
2. higher taxes
3. social security is a good idea
4. welfare is good and lots of it
5. Criminals are just misunderstood

Oh yea this is good... So what do you mean it's not nice to share what rightfully mine? FU, Whatever I make should ALL be mine why should I ever share what I work for. If you want to work for everyone to have money go to China they have a communism where everyone gets a job and does thier fair share.. Is that the kind of sharing you want?

Thats fine with me go I don't make my money to pay for you or anyone else it's MINE. Being selfish is not a bad thing it just depends on how you look at it. When you are a worthless bum who wants to collect welfare then yes I would want people to share. But if your someone with drive to make themselves better and do thier best then you don't want to share what you earned.

Maybe it's due to them getting burnt out on working for thier money.
Maybe for the poor it's due to not having to do anything to get the WORKING PEOPLE's money.

Sorry I don't consider myself rich but my household brings in near 6 figures so I know I am very well off. But I also want you to know I wasn't born with money I had to earn it. I never asked for anyone elses money in my life. Maybe it's a thing of respect to not beg (Welfare)

my dad came here WITH NOTHING except a few bucks and the WILL TO MAKE IT (and i mean the will) to work 24/7.

Now that my parents are well-off in life, Spread the wealth? Hell no...I don't believe in that..

I belive in helping some1, but NOT GIVING... that is why some of the Democratic agenda ARe good!

I believe in a person working their butt off (no matter the cost) to attain the American Dream..

Wat party are we? We are independent...xcept for if I HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN REpu or DEMO..i always go with republican (for their morals)

Try owning a business, and then tell me that Democrats make America the great nation that it is today. It may not be as cut and dried as Valhalla thinks, but they definately want more from me, and want to give more to those on welfare. I mean have you any idea of the taxes on a small business?

Many want to remove the second amendment right to arms.

Elitist, Bobby Ribs? Capitalism IS elitist. The hungry work hard then earn enough to self sustain, while the lazy either become hungry or die. I'm not saying that there is no place for charity, but it is a very poor social policy. It encourages that which damages our ability to prosper, and doesn't provide the proper motivation for sustained growth. People need sucessful role models. And the threat of failure.

What? You mean you don't enjoy sitting down each quarter and writing a check to Federal Piggy for 50% of what you earned? How un-American of you.
