Mine was about 11,500 to pay off my truck.

Boring, I know, but I am still young. I am sure I will pay some one a lot of money in a big check sometime before I die.

$15k for tuition? Ouch. Does that include room and board or is that all registration fees? I just paid my fees for spring quarter, $430.

BTW I think that's the biggest check I've written all year. Biggest all time was probably $1000 to pay off a credit card.

Probably $800 for my credit card

My smallest check was $0.16 US

Damned PacBell. The stamp was worth more.

cheques are useless now... there's cc, direct transfer, debit cards, etc.
I've written like 10 cheques in my life just to use up my cheques, and I think the largest is like 1200+.

anyway, I saw some insurance company deposit a 36MILLION$ cheque a few years back!!! I was in AWE!

I've written some checks with big numbers, but the one I'll always remember, because I hated it so much, was a $60K+ check to IRS the year after silver butterflies were outlawed (1983?) and all our capital gains were subject to taxation. Ouch!!!!!!

gnognugs... if you give away money for a living would you be kind enough to give some my way? It'd be much appreciated. 🙂

Damn taxes. :|
