that was good of course.

Lets not talk about a transfer of funds from one investment to another, education or a house down payment but a check for a tangible item.

I think mine was $23,000 for my Trans Am.

When I first started out my money market account, I wrote a check out to my broker for $6,500.

The largest check I ever received was for just over $14,000. I keep the deposit ticket with me (and have for years) as a reminder :)

I've written a couple $3,000 checks.

Edit: The largest I've seen was for my dad, $37,333 from Harras in SLT.

Oh man, I want one of those checks from Harrahs sooooo bad.

Probably only getting some of my own money back :D

How do you feel when you write out those checks to credit cards. I know I already got the merchandise but at that point I feel like Im paying for it twice!

I use my credit cards to my advantage but I still hate paying them. I always do, of course.

Down payment on my car, about $2500 or so. The rent check every month is over $1000, though. :|

Largest check I've ever written, outside of home purchases, was $17,500. Largest check I've ever received, outside of home sales, was $32,000.

thebestMAX ~ thank you so much for the offer! I'll be staying in Jacksonville, but will have access to a car. I'm definitely going to Disneyworld (never been there before), and want to drive down to Miami for a day or two. Please feel free to PM me any restaurant/club/activity suggestions you might have! :)
