Lets not talk about a transfer of funds from one investment to another, education or a house down payment but a check for a tangible item.

I think mine was $23,000 for my Trans Am.

When I first started out my money market account, I wrote a check out to my broker for $6,500.

The largest check I ever received was for just over $14,000. I keep the deposit ticket with me (and have for years) as a reminder

I use my credit cards to my advantage but I still hate paying them. I always do, of course.
