Chocolate chip. It's all about ratios. Make the pieces too big and you lose the cookie character, then you might as well be eating a candy bar.

I agree with the above. Too much chunk can ruin a cookie.

For me the cookie part is the key. It should be slightly chewy; not too brittle and not too greasy.
