Sorry, but the Japanese invasion of China, while horrific, and the firebombing of Japan PALE in comparison to the acts of the likes of Hitler, Stalin and Mao.
Not even the same ballpark...not even the same sport.

off the top of my head? i'd have to say Hitler for starting a war with all the jews and almost wiping them out...
He wasn't "at war" with the Jews...
I'm sure by "starting a war with" he meant "systematically relocating and killing in an attempt to exterminate"
In that case, of course Hiter was at war with the Jews![]()
As horrific as Hitler's actions were, and he is without question always the answer (in the western world) to questions like "worst human being ever," "worst crime ever," etc, Stalin's reign in Russia saw nearly 20 million people killed under his direct control.
That almost doubles Hitler's ~10 million...
Don't forget Mao had about 20 million to his credit also. The Great Leap Forward indeed....

Oh really? The Japanese killed millions of innocent people. Rape and torture of women and children. But that pales in comparison? How about that equals Hitler, Stalin, and Mao. You're right though. At least the firebombing didn't rape and torture.

As far as I know, the Japanese invasion of China/Manchuria, along with the crimes associated with the "Rape of Nanking," one of the world's most horrendous crimes against humanity, killed fewer than a million people.
Of course, the rape and murder of innocent civilians is horrific, but the numbers killed by Hitler, Mao and Stalin are exponentially larger.

our ancestors leaving the trees...
There is trouble in the forest. Trouble with the trees. The maples want more sunlight and the oaks ignore their pleas.
The trouble with the maples,
They say the oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light.

Your numbers are off by 10-15 million asian dead depending on who you ask.

Well the difference is that in these cases the violence is widespread. The Rape of Nanking killed no more than 300,000 Chinese, and other than that there are really no definite, single atrocious events. Widespread mistreatment, rape, killing of Chinese civilians is not one action done by one government or one person.
It's de facto killing. Stalin and Hitler's regimes, on the other hand, were governmental, industrialized and institutionalized brutality. Big difference IMO.
