what is temu and why is it everywhere right now

Didn't they have a superbowl ad slot this year? I didn't watch it but thought I heard about their commercial. Which runs like $50m-100m for a 30 sec spot. Obviously thought it'd be a good investment to sucker more people in.

Just another banggood or other direct-from-China stores.

You can tell that right away because the prices are too low to expect anything but the Harbor Freight approach "Use once or very lightly" to most products.

Right, I remembered it coming out around or after the first iPod models, but didn't recall the storage sizes on them. I meant it as a joke though, so I wasn't concerned about historical accuracy, haha.
 
I was ready to check out bunch of phone charging cables.

I ended up not doing it since Amazon price was similar but with a better reliability.

I could see this site useful for many little trinkets and toys. Very cheap.
