What is everyone addicted to?

I know there are a bunch of new releases coming up before christmas that people are excited about. But what games are you all addicted to right now? I'm bored of everything I've got and am looking for a new game... I like all genres, mystery, fps, rpg, mmo. Post anything.

I havent really looked into LOTRO how does it compare to EQ, DAOC and WOW types?

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. It's like BF2 except it's fast paced and not full of lame bugs.

I finished BioShock yesterday. I play a few turns/battles in Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms every now and then. Right now I'm playing MoH: AirBorne, and I'm playing a preview version of Avencast: Rise of the Mage and a preview version of Escape from Paradise City, both mediocre games from what I've seen so far. With some luck I receive World In Conflict very soon which will be getting some loving from me. That's it I guess.

Well it is very quest driven and if you liked the books/movies, it has the bonus of being closely tied to them (which adds a lot IMHO).

. . . about 20-some hours into it .. level 42, i think ... i'm getting to the harder enemies .. have done mass exploration in this HUGE world .. haven't tried online yet

i didn't like LotRO ... especially when i realized i had to BUY the game AND pay each month
- not for me

i *will* get to TF2 ... after some other games ... but i have a corrupted D/L [i hope that's all ... it said my HW configuration was wrong ]

someday ... i am hoping for a great SP LotR ... in a much bigger world then Oblivion ... maybe in 3 parts [duh] ... at least i KNOW that story is decent.

Replaying Icewind Dale 2 on Vista x64 and some Two Worlds,some very cool fights in Icewind Dale 2,will be playing Mask of the Betrayer in a few days time as well,next month will be Jericho and The Witcher .

It's only been TF2 for me since Sept 17.

But if I get bored with that or something, I still want to play more ET-QW, play the Bioshock demo, give Airborne demo another play or two, Dungeon Runners, TR beta, Insurgency (especially once the next version is out)... basically a ton of good games but little time to play them, especially with TF2.

Dont cry but I've never played a half life game... is TF2 stand alone or is it an expansion? Can I buy that and go or do I need other versions first?

I'm surprisingly bored with gaming right now. I just like going to my friends' houses and playing 360 and ping pong while drinking coke. I have GRAW2, STALKER, Riddick, Bioshock, Jade Empire, Bioshock, and CoD2 sitting on my desktop along with other classics. They're being played a criminally small amount. Hopefully UT3/The Witcher/Hellgate will renew my vigor.

Until this past week I had never played Half Life either. You aren't missing anything. HL is a terrible game that was a chore to play through, and is the only game I ever used Auto-Aim to play. I then forced myself to play Blue Shift which was shorter therefore wasn't as bad. I played HL2- Episode One when it was released, and while it was short it was decent. Regardless, I know nothing of TF2 so can't answer that question.
