Weening my self off of LOTRO. Getting a bit back into CS:Source, waiting for Crysis pretty much.

Medieval II : Total War.
Finally beat the grand campaign as the Holy Roman Empire last night. I'll probably try it as the Egyptians or Byzantines next. :)

Awesome.
Two things I learned, first was make alliances with everyone early on and build up your markets and trade.
The second is dealing with the Mongols by letting them come to you, Build up two or three towns/castles on the border. Put your best troops there with a few mortars or trebuchets to fire over the walls at them. That and letting the wall defenses do the work for you, send out a group of men that you don't mind sacrificing and their horse archers and cavalry fall for the bait and get decimated by the canon or balista towers.

All on Steam: Bioshock, Civ IV, and the occasional game of Call of Duty Single-player (need to get through that before I start the expansion and CoD2). I used to be die-hard WoW for 2 years and just recently getting back into "normal" gaming.

TF2 and BF2... was BF2 all the time till TF2 came out, now I'm pretty split. TF2 is a blast to play and just gets better the more you play and get used to the classes.

Was spending a lot of time playing ET, but recently it frustrates more than calms. For SP, just finished Gun and Giants: Citizen Kabuto. This weekend or early next week I will probably break into X3

Just so happens I'm playing this right now as well, in between fragging online in UT2004. It's good but I'm getting bored with it already.

That's why I bought the lifetime sub, so I don't have to worry about monthly payments. I'd rather just pay the $200 bucks now and not have to think about it again. :D

great game that unexpectly show up right when Half Life 2 and Doom III were delayed, made forget all about them.

No PC games at the moment. I've been playing DDR Universe on my 360 a lot lately. I've been looking into setting up StepMania on my TV's PC, but it seems like a lot of work :p.

TF2, Hellgate London, Trying to complete Two Worlds, and some game on the DS with a weird name that I can never remember. Oh and I was playing God Hand for awhile but I stopped sometime last week. Need to get back to that.

i guess it is a real deal if you like it that much .. i can't see playing LotRO for the rest of my life [2 days was enough for me; i guess i don't "get" MMORPG]
:Q
--and $240 is too much for any game [imo]
[i got 1200 hours of playtime from $100 worth of Oblivion - over about a year - including expansions and i doubt i care to EVER fire it up again]

i am enjoying 2Worlds ... btw, it is on sale for $30 at GoGamer [i think] ... lots and lots of quests ... i just cleared a city of undead ... kind of difficult being mobbed by 5 HellMasters who can each one-hit kill you - well, two hits, with your super-heavy armour ...
--of course, unless you lure them to your resurrection point and hack away without penalty :D ]

I doubt I will play for the rest of my life either, but as long as I play for just under 2 years (~ 20 months), it makes it worthwhile. For how long it takes me to get through content and how much new stuff they keep putting out, the game should have no problem holding my interest.

I only played Oblivion for a few hours (bored me to tears) but the social aspect of LOTRO (or any decent MMO really) is what sets it apart from that game. Having a great group of friends online to play with, makes the game that much more fun. :)
