okay we all know that cs is the best game on the internet....

so which is the best OS to run it....

what are your guys thoughts.....?

i just upgraded to XP and am running into problems....

also i was wondering how to do a dual boot if necessary just so i could run CS easier...

If you feel the need to do this, there is an FAQ on how to install Win98/ME after installing XP

To answer your question though..I personally don't do CS, but Half-Life, Opp-for, and blue-shift all run like a champ for me on XP..
 
Win98SE. No problems whatsoever with CS. Of course that's all I do with the OS. 😉

My friend uses WinXP and CS has no issues with it either. So what's your problem? 😛
 
XP and CS work great together,try disabling or removing QoS in networking tab,also last resort is to run it in Win98 compatibility mode(I`ve not needed too).
