what is best OS for running Counter-Strike

okay we all know that cs is the best game on the internet....

so which is the best OS to run it....

what are your guys thoughts.....?

i just upgraded to XP and am running into problems....

also i was wondering how to do a dual boot if necessary just so i could run CS easier...

If you feel the need to do this, there is an FAQ on how to install Win98/ME after installing XP

To answer your question though..I personally don't do CS, but Half-Life, Opp-for, and blue-shift all run like a champ for me on XP..

Win98SE. No problems whatsoever with CS. Of course that's all I do with the OS.

My friend uses WinXP and CS has no issues with it either. So what's your problem?

XP and CS work great together,try disabling or removing QoS in networking tab,also last resort is to run it in Win98 compatibility mode(I`ve not needed too).
