Wait until you start doing the other missions, like finding everyones ultimate weapon, getting all of the extra aeons, monster breeder, stuff like that. Once you get towards the end, the cutscenes go away and you can focus on all of the side quests.

I had the game in Japan when I was recovering from surgery, so I played FFX all the time. I think after I finally got burnt out I had nearly 700 hours in the game.

The sphere-grid was a terrible idea. People like choices when leveling up their characters, such as different build-types, but they don't like confusing puzzles and strategies to get where they want their chracter to be.

I laughed so hard near the end when Tidus says to Jecht

"Dad...."

"Yeah, son?"

(hangs head and looks toward ground)"....I hate you."

I liked the sphere grid myself. I had the entire sphere grid complete though before I tried to take on Sin, so the strategy didnt matter so much to me. I actually cleared out the entire grid of the smaller spheres and replaced them all with +4 spheres.

Sin is nothing compared to Nemesis though (Monster Arena)

Guitar Hero. Seriously. Hours and Hours and Hours. Plus, Guitar Hero 2 comes out next month.

yea Guitar Hero is an awesome game. and GH2 doesn't come out till November 7th. Got a few months, not next month.

Final Fantasy X and Xenosaga. Xenosaga is great for killing time because it has long ass (some last longer than 30 minutes) cut scenes that are pretty well done. It's like playing an anime movie.
